Fairbanks Trip + Desson Can't Even 720

Matt Learned 720s, check out the video here http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v481/desson/?action=view&current=steeze1042.flv

I should probably write some stuff about the fairbanks trip here before it's too late:

I flew up Saturday for a short little trip, it was really good. We hung out at the shop all day Saturday, they've got everything fully stocked now, Lotek, We the People, Fit and a bunch of other stuff, and they're the only shop in Alaska I've seen that prices things about the same as mailorders. So we hung out, watched some videos and played the wii; Tupper hooked me up with some Loteks, I think he took pity on me for flying to Fairbanks (who does that). But yeah, I don't even ride for them, those guys are nice. The contest went really well; the intermediates get better each time up there. Wallride Trent did a bunch of really good wallrides and some kid that looks exactly like Tommy (his brother maybe?) won with lots of cool transfer lines. I rode expert and even landed more than one trick this time, it was fun. Ryan Harly came in third, it's fun to see him progress, he landed a bunch of stuff he was trying last time we were up like barspin 5050 and x-up grinds on the sub, hang 5 and barspin over the hip and my personal favourite, the biggest nosed in 270 over the hip I've ever seen there. Tim Fleagle got second, I didn't really see what he did, but he can do 540 wallrides so that should give you a clue, oh wait, he did a barspin to opposite feeble to 270 on the sub. Andrew Fleagle won again with the biggest transfer line in the park from the far right of the vert wall over to the loading dock, and I think he did a crankflip 5050 to fakie on the big quarter; it's hard to see because there's a wall in the way. Best trick was a bit of chaos again. Kink Aaron did a smith hard 180, but nobody saw it and the two big winners were this kid caleb who flipped the hip and Tim Fleagle, who pulled the big transfer he always tries from the wedge to 5050 the top of the sub, if you've never seen it it's about a ten foot gap and all happens about seven feet off the ground; it's nuts. That's everything, big ups to Savvy Ride shop for the awesome weekend.
