i hope it stops raining and dries up tomorrow, we really need to get some work done for the video, and by we i mean i. i dont really produce, so filming is a bit hard. anyways all you anchorage kids reading this (BPC and maybe MARLO) we need to ride tomorro or the next day or any other day its nice where im not working till 11.

two things

1. Yesterday and today were really nice, and I didn't touch my bike once. Weird...
2. I am continiually amazed at the sheer number of street spots in this city. Zac took me to another great spot Friday night that I'd never seen and I still haven't rode some good looking stuff that I've seen around town. It kind of makes me wonder why I ever go to the park... oh yeah, I forgot about the awesome fights that happen there. Last time it was some ten year olds fighting about one kid who had cheated on his girlfriend or something, it was a pretty typicall display of pre-adolescent insecurity, and it ruled.

I think we should plan a trail jam for a couple weeks from now.

New Macneil Web Video

This went up today.

It's a compilation edit with Bibi, Harrison Boyce, Jaumell Campbell and Alistair Whitton. They're really going crazy with the web edits lately, and this one's pretty nice; they should do a full one of Jaumell though, that guy's too good.

Greg Flag Video on Seshin

I thought this was pretty good.

If you don't know what Seshin is, they sponsor Matt Desson, who is also on no bikes and Zane Hudson, who probably won't be for much longer unless he starts answering my e-mails. This is the beginning of a series of online videos for them I think, and I believe we're going to work together on one for Desson so that he doesn't have to split up his footage for this years video. If you need a frame, they sell nice ones for $199 shipped.

How's everyone feeling about trails this weekend? It might be a really good time to dig and get some riding in...

This was taken at a dirt demo in Delta Junction a while ago. I'm not sure who took it because I stole it off of Bikeguide; thanks Rigo for posting it. Kink Aaron, Casey and Anou were down on Saturday and it was awesome, man those guys are rad...
Anou beat the crap out himself a bunch of times, Casey went really high and Aaron did some sweet backwards moves. I know that Anou took some good photos so I'll try to get some up here. We probably had the biggest session that's happenned in Anchorage in a while; TJ even came out of retirement. David tried some flairs and broke his chain, Josh did some good flips and the Eagle river kids showed up; Colton 540d over a nice gap in between a constant stream of dialogue. There's snow on the mountains which means we don't have much time left...

This is another one of the Macneil web edits and it's really good. I guess it applies here because he rides a bunch of okanagan spots, including a wallride to whip on the Summerland wall, which is real crazy.

so like aaron said we have been more motivated to get out and shred some gnar since its been getting colder. and the life style footage he speaks of is mostly me being out of shape...... you will under stand when you see the dvd. i found this new spot, im psyched on it, its a trailer on its side and angled like a wall ride/ kicker (and its bright red). anyways............. i got into film school so i will be moving to portland in a year.

Two Flips

These are both from the other night at Ben Boeke. I wanted to film a flip with Josh, and David decided to train him. We've been out and about a lot lately, riding and collecting "lifestyle footage". Brian got a concussion and hurt his elbow again, but should be back riding soon; all in all I'm a little short on news right now.
